I am a director & dramaturg. I am also a facilitator, support worker & teacher. Originally from the Northwest, I now live in London & work anywhere & everywhere. My work often focuses on new writing & working with texts at all stages of life, as well as actor-centred practice inspired by & rooted in Meisner technique. I am interested in text-based theatre that is intuitive, irreverent, alive & accessible. In 2023/4 I was Resident Assistant Director at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. I am a reader for the Bruntwood Prize 2025, & a visiting tutor at Rose Bruford College, Manchester Metropolitan University & Birkbeck College. My most recent project as Director & Dramaturg was shortlisted for the Papatango Prize 2024 & Longlisted for the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award.
